Fees and Payments Policy

This Fees and Payments Policy (“Policy”), together with the Terms and Conditions, governs the payment methods, fees, and procedures applicable to purchases made on the Ritu Kumar Platform (“Platform”). The purpose of this Policy is to ensure transparency, user convenience, and secure handling of financial information shared by users (“Users”).

By accessing, browsing, or making a purchase on the Platform, you agree to be bound by this Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this Policy, you are advised to discontinue use of the Platform immediately.

1. Fees for Using the Platform

Currently, no fees are charged for browsing or accessing the Platform. However, Reliance reserves the right to introduce fees for using the Platform or certain features in the future. Any such fees shall become applicable immediately upon implementation, and continued use of the Platform shall be deemed as acceptance of such changes.

2. Accepted Payment Options

To provide a convenient shopping experience, the following payment options are available:

  • Net banking

  • Credit cards (select banks)

  • Debit cards (select banks)

  • Cash on Delivery (for orders up to ₹25,000 within India)

  • Prepaid payment instruments and digital wallets

  • Any other payment method introduced from time to time

Reliance reserves the right to add or remove payment options at its discretion without prior notice. Acceptance of any payment is subject to verification and is solely at Reliance’s discretion. Payments made using international debit or credit cards may be accepted subject to banking regulations.

For verification purposes, Reliance may request identity proof (such as PAN card). Failure to provide valid documentation may result in rejection of the payment.

3. User Responsibilities

Users agree to provide accurate, complete, and valid payment details. Users must only use payment instruments that they own or are legally authorised to use. The security and confidentiality of payment details are the sole responsibility of the User.

Reliance shall not be liable for any unauthorised use of payment details or identity due to User negligence.

4. Transaction Failures and Limitations

Reliance shall not be responsible for any loss or damage arising due to:

  • Lack of authorisation for a transaction

  • Exceeding credit/debit limits set by the issuing bank

  • Technical issues during payment processing

  • Transaction decline by banks or payment gateways

Reliance reserves the right to impose transaction limits and may refuse or delay processing transactions in cases of suspicious or unusual activity. Reliance shall not be liable for any loss resulting from such actions.

5. Pricing and Taxes

All product prices displayed on the Platform are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Users are responsible for payment of all applicable taxes, including GST, duties, and levies.

In the event of a pricing error:

  • If the delivered product’s MRP is lower than the price paid, the difference will be refunded within 7 days upon verification.

  • If the MRP is higher and no discount applies, Reliance may request the User to pay the difference or cancel the order with a full refund.

6. Refunds and Adjustments

Refunds will be processed based on the original mode of payment. Cash-on-delivery refunds will be processed via bank transfer upon receiving necessary details from the User.

7. Third-Party Payment Services

Reliance may engage third-party payment service providers, banks, and logistics partners to facilitate transactions. Payments to such third parties shall be initiated after successful delivery of products.

8. Unauthorised Transactions

If a User notices an unauthorised charge, they must report it within 48 hours of the transaction date. Reliance will initiate an investigation upon receiving the complaint.

9. Invalidated Payments

If a payment is reversed or invalidated after order completion, Reliance reserves the right to recover the amount. Failure to remit the invalidated payment within the specified time may result in legal action.

10. Cash on Delivery (COD)

Cash on Delivery is available for eligible products within India for orders up to ₹25,000. Reliance reserves the right to restrict COD for certain products or locations. COD orders are subject to the Return, Refund, and Cancellation Policy.
